Ron recently relocated to Scottsdale, Arizona from Nevada. His warm hearted, tender poems and humorous stories of the range has earned him the reputation as the "Gentleman Cowboy Poet". Last year Ron was one of the feature poets for the Jackson Hole Wyoming Old West Days. He currently performs at many of the western cowboy poetry gatherings around Nevada and Northern California. His past appearances include the Gold Hill Hotel in Virginia City Nevada, the Rhymers Rodeer 13th annual cowboy poetry gathering at the Carson Valley Inn Casino in Garderville Nevada, with his friends Rod McQueary, ranch owner and singer John Tyson, and singer songwriter Richard Elloyan

R. L. Brinegar - The "Gentleman Cowboy Poet"Ron enjoys attending the Red Mule Ranch chuckwagon poetry music gathering in Fiddletown, Ca. hosted by his friends Ron and Marie Scofield. Ron had a small ranch near San Andreas, California before moving to Nevada.
