This title was named the First Place History Book in 1994 by the Wyoming State Historical Society. Legacy of the Tetons: Homesteading in Jackson Hole is the story of the first individuals to claim homesteads in what is now Grand Teton National Park. It is a story of hard work and sacrifice by people determined to make a better life for themselves and their descendants. It focuses on the Mormon Row area, home to some of the old barns now famous because of their use in country music videos and photographs. Country Magazine called one of the barns "The Most Photographed Barn in America." For my family, it's simply Grandpa Moulton's barn.
