Pandering to an ever-growing, ready-made audience the aging baby boomers who cut their teeth on an abundance of television westerns the latest 'safe-bet' fad in Hollywood is producing feature films based on the old TV favorites.
PLOT:
Set in 1875 San Francisco, a character named Paladin lives a double lifeone as a well-off society man and the other as a reluctant hired avenger of evil.
According to Variety, the film will be "full of action, morality, deeply etched characters, humor and a number of profound twists and turns."
Story Source: Based on the CBS series of the same title, which ran from 1957-1963 and starred Richard Boone.
