2026 Aflac Holiday Duck marks the 25th year that the quacking collectible has helped children with cancer and blood disorders
COLUMBUS, Ga., Nov. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Aflac, a leading provider of supplemental health insurance in the U.S., is celebrating a milestone anniversary with the release of the 2026 Aflac Holiday Duck, marking the 25th year of the beloved annual tradition that has become a holiday must-have for families across America while helping bring comfort, hope and support to children facing cancer and blood disorders across the United States.
Since its debut in 2001, the Aflac Holiday Duck program has generated nearly $4.7 million in donations through net proceeds, benefiting participating hospitals across the U.S. that treat pediatric oncology and hematology patients. What began as a seasonal collectible has become a cherished symbol of generosity, with each annual duck helping support Aflac’s long-standing commitment to pediatric cancer and blood disorders patients and their families.
The 2026 Aflac Holiday Duck features a cozy winter-ready look, dressed in a vibrant green hooded, puffy vest trimmed with white faux fur. The keepsake also includes festive holiday details, including a red-and-white candy cane accent and commemorative 2026 ribbon. Give it a squeeze to hear the iconic Aflac quack.
“The Aflac Holiday Duck is an American tradition including families having collected at least one from each of the 25 years that it has been sold, with all of the net proceeds going toward childhood cancer and blood disorders-related causes,” Aflac Chairman and CEO Dan Amos said. “The Aflac Duck has helped make Aflac a leader in our industry and a household name, but we are equally proud that it is such a big part of our philanthropic program — giving back to children and families going through difficult times.”
Funds raised through Holiday Duck sales go to the Aflac Childhood Cancer Foundation Inc. and complement Aflac’s broader commitment to childhood cancer and blood disorders, supporting pediatric health initiatives nationwide. This year, Aflac, its sales agents and employees marked more than $200 million in donations to the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, since 1995.
“For 25 years, the Aflac Holiday Duck has helped turn holiday giving into meaningful support for children and families navigating some of life’s most difficult challenges,” said president of the Aflac Childhood Cancer Foundation, Kerry Hand. “This year, we not only are celebrating a beloved tradition but also the generosity of customers, employees and supporters who have helped make a lasting difference in communities across the country.”
The 2026 Aflac Holiday Duck is available while supplies last in both 6-inch ($14) and 10-inch ($23) sizes at www.aflacchildhoodcancer.org.
